Active
While the Eos is undeniably gorgeous, it also features a number of intelligent active safety programs to help you avoid accidents when in potentially dangerous situations. For example, the Electronic Stabilisation Program (ESP) with integrated ABS and ASR traction control systems helps ensure the Eos goes where you steer it.
|
Braking
ESP is supported by the Eos' Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist that recognises emergency braking and helps prevent the wheels from locking under severe braking. The Eos is also equipped with active rollover bars that extend above the rear seats at the slightest hint of the vehicle rolling.

Passive
The Eos also boasts a comprehensive range of passive safety features to ensure the highest levels of protection for you and your passengers. The Eos' rigid body shell provides exceptional protection, while the construction of the robust steel-panelled passenger safety cell utilises the most advanced manufacturing techniques and materials.
|
Airbags
Drivers and front passenger's airbags as well as combined head and side impact airbags for front passengers also come standard with the Eos for optimal protection.

Parking
Parking sensors also prevent the roof from opening when there is an obstacle behind the vehicle. The third brake light with LED technology is harmonically integrated into the boot lid.
|
Optical Parking System
Available in both the standard RCD510 radio system and the optional RNS510 satellite navigation system, the Optical Parking System (OPS) takes parking aids to a new level. With OPS engaged, a silhouette of the Eos is displayed on the radio or navigation system screen when parking, including its position and distance from obstacles.
